Your vision and God’s will for your life. Personal Incredible experience and testimony

Usually, we feel like we are opening a new page at the beginning of the year. What stories do you want your new chapter to carry?

It’s important to know where you are headed. Otherwise, you will go nowhere, and your life will be organized and managed by other people and outside events that randomly happen.

  • So, what is your vision for this year?
  • What would make this year a success for you?
  • What specifically do you want to accomplish?
  • What would be the impact of achieving this vision on your life?
  • How does your vision align with your highest values?
  • And how does your vision align with God’s will for your life?
  • When we create our vision, we often think about ourselves: our comfort, things we want to accomplish, experiences we want to enjoy. But, have you thought, “Lord, what do YOU want? What is YOUR will for me this year? How can I be of service to You and other people?”

Not that long ago, I realized that we contradict ourselves: we say, “I want to fulfill God’s will. I want to do what He wants me to do.” But when we think about a vision for our future, a new year, or plan our week, we become the center of it all, not God’s will.

I had a pretty interesting experience with this seven years ago and a fantastic testimony. For many years I have lived in faith. I would say, “Lord, may Your will be done in my life!” but then, when I planned my life, my goals were all about me. My comfort, my ambitions of what I wanted to achieve. Since my focus was to restore my life after the car accident, I concentrated on achieving what I wanted my life to be. First, it was about my ability to be self-sufficient living with my traumatic injuries, establish my life in a foreign country in a way that I would not have to depend on anybody. This put me in a mindset and lifestyle of constantly achieving my goals.

I was very passionate about the personal development and success industry for many years, and I had a great desire to go into that industry. My ambitions were relatively high, and I was thrilled just thinking about it. I did not have the means to make it happen, though. My book was written and ready to be published, BUT I did not have the editor nor did I have the money to publish it. I wanted to be a speaker in the personal development industry and record videos, BUT my home did not work well for recording, and I did not have the equipment to record videos and edit them. I did not have the car or someone to drive me where I would need to go for my business.

An enormous challenge was ahead of me. But I’ve been in this kind of situation not once, and the Lord, being faithful as always, provided His help every time. So, I believed that with His help, I would be able to accomplish it just as I achieved all other goals.

However, I couldn’t publish the book that I wrote. Nothing worked out for the vision I had. I was confused. It seemed like I was doing the right thing, and I couldn’t understand why I did not have a blessing to fulfill my vision.

I was perplexed. Then, through the Holy Scriptures, the Lord began working with my motives and my heart. One day I realized I had to make a choice: to go in the direction of aiming to achieve my selfish ambitions or surrender to God’s will and do what He wants me to do.

I had an understanding that this choice would direct my future and, ultimately, my destiny. Following the Lord’s will was a different path than a career in the success/personal development industry. I knew I was standing at a crossroads, and I had a choice.

    What choice you will make?

I was pondering on that thought. My ideas were going back and forth because I knew it would be tough to juggle between the two worlds. I was eager and committed to bringing the Lord’s glory and making a difference in people’s lives. And I was thrilled about the Success industry, which is a high-paid career and an uplifting world to be engaged in. But from my observations, there is no place for Jesus there; the spiritual aspect of life is all about meditation. For some reason, prayer and Jesus Christ is automatically rejected by many, calling it a “religion,” while mediation is a practice of Buddhism and Hinduism religion, but nobody rejects it. So I was juggling with it and was not sure what to do.

It was early morning; while waiting for my bus to work. One moment a thought came to me, a few words from a Bible verse. I found that verse on my Bible app and began reading.

“Then, calling the crowd to join his disciples, he said, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross, and follow me. If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will save it. And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul? If anyone is ashamed of me and my message in these adulterous and sinful days, the Son of Man will be ashamed of that person when he returns in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:34-38 NLT

I knew the Lord was speaking to me. He knew what was going on in my heart and talked to me. The word of God settled it. I knew without hesitation which path I would choose: fulfill my promise to the Lord.

After I surrendered my path to God’s will for my life, I had an understanding in my spirit as though someone was explaining to me the upcoming change: the Lord and I were driving in the car. I was in a driver’s seat, and Jesus was by my side, in the passenger’s seat. Jesus said, “All this time you were stirring the wheel of your life, going in life where you wanted to go, and I was right here with you, helping you to get where you want to arrive. Now, we will change places. Now I will be in a driver’s seat, and you will go with me where I will drive you, and you will help me fulfill My will here.”

“Yes, Lord. I give up all my ambitions; I don’t want any of that if You are not there. Show me what I need to do and where to go, and I will,” in my spirit, I agreed.

That moment, I felt how peace filled me. With that, there was a great sense of security, safety. I knew I had made the right choice.

When I aligned my vision with God’s will for my life

Since then, my life has changed quite radically. When I surrendered my path to the Lord, I had a new vision built on different motives and did not have selfish ambitions. So I began asking myself a different question: Lord, what do YOU want me to do?

And then, the Lord began showering me with His gifts. First, he provided the editor (one of the best copywriters/editors who came to my workplace to work with me on a project). Then, the Lord inspired a person to make a gift of $10,000 as funds to publish my book. Then, He provided the new home where I have multiple places proper for videos, professional video equipment for recording videos, and a professional editing program (which I am learning how to use and love it!). Fourth, He provided a wheelchair-accessible vehicle.

And most of all, the Lord connected me with a friend who became like my sister and is my partner in purpose, supporting me in my mission. With that, with my new friend, the Lord gave me her family, who loves me and accepted me into their circle, and now I have a new family here in the USA, while my real family is in Lithuania.

When you are on the right path, all things come together. I am not saying there won’t be any challenges. What I am saying – when your vision and your intentions are aligned with God’s will for your life – God works with you and provides everything you need. Even if challenges and obstacles arise – the Lord will provide help. When you appear in a situation without a way out – the Lord will make the way.

The critical question is – when you set your vision and your goals, who is at the center of it all?

The best and the safest place to be – it is God’s will! Be there.

How I received supernatural freedom from incurable pain and opioid medication

How I received supernatural freedom from incurable pain and opioid medication

I am experiencing one of the biggest miracles in my life. And, I want to share with you a testimony of supernatural freedom from severe incurable pain and opioid pain medication. This is a long post, but I hope this message will bring hope to you and will add some value to your life.

Even though I lost my legs in a car accident, I have a sensation as if I do have legs. For over 10 years I was suffering from pain in my feet, which is called phantom pain. It seemed as if lightning strikes hit into my feet. The shots of pain were so sudden and violent that my body jumped, pierced by sharp pain. It was excruciating.

I have learned to live with daily never-ending pain in my paralyzed arm, but the phantom pain was something I could not tolerate. The doctor said there is no cure for it. I started taking pain medication Vicodin (hydrocodone/acetaminophen) to get temporary relief from pain. Pain medication did help with the pain and it even gave me a little boost of energy (which I liked, I admit) but little did I know what I stepped into…

Over time, my body got used to this medication and it no longer helped with the pain. So I received a prescription for a much stronger pain reliever, Norco. Slowly but surely, medication pulled me into a trap of the addiction to the pain-relievers. From taking one pill a day I ended up taking 6-8 pills a day of 10 mg/325 mg Norco drug just to be able to function. Furthermore, after some time Norco also was no longer strong enough to knock down the pain.

When I realized the horrible effect that medication had in my life and I did a research about this type of medication, I faced a terrifying fact: these were a class of drugs that include the illegal drug heroin.

After reading online about the experiences of others in this matter, I think for the first time I felt frightened about my life. The opioid medication was the only option for me to handle the pain (alternative medications and acupuncture did not help), but this option had only one direction – to a deeper addiction which led thousands of people to illegal drugs and a life of drug addiction.

What did I get myself into?! How to get out of this?

    There was no way out.

This kind of pain is not curable and it actually only intensified over time. Quite frankly, the pain and taking medication became such a usual part of my life that it just became a part of me; I forgot what it looked like to live without pain and without medication. I did not have enough faith that prayer can help. So I did not even pray about it.

One day, as I was going home from work, I took a pill. I realized it was the 8thNorco pill that I just took in one day. It horrified me. I felt drowsy and spaced out. I hated that feeling. And the pain attacks didn’t go anywhere. Since Norco no longer helped with the pain, I had to either increase the daily dosage or go on stronger medication. But I was so afraid of stronger medication…. I felt hopeless. I just didn’t know what to do. In my mind, I began calling out to God… as a drowning person reaches out the hand to grab the last straw.

In a moment, memories came to me of times when I received supernatural healing after the prayer and many other incredible testimonies of the Lord’s help. Jesus was my only hope. After returning home, feeling total despair I cried to Jesus Christ. I just had nowhere to go. I asked Him to break the chains of pain and addiction and to free me from this invisible prison.

    The impossible becomes true

Right on the next day, I received my answer. Totally unexpectedly I was invited to join a bible homegroup. There severe pain shots began attacking me, and my fellows began praying for me. And, to my big astonishment, after the prayer, the pain shots stopped, just like in a story when the storm calmed down when Jesus commanded it to be quiet. I couldn’t believe that what I experienced was real!

Since then, after many years of pain and dependency on narcotic medication trap, I began my journey toward my freedom. It was probably one of the hardest things I had to do. When I would not take medication, it seemed like someone was breaking my bones, tearing apart all my organs inside. At times it felt as though someone was pulling my soul out of me. I couldn’t do any work, couldn’t sit still, couldn’t rest, and couldn’t sleep. In addition, returning pain shots made it nearly impossible to stay away from the medication.

At times, after the prayer, the pain would stop, and at times the pain would persist regardless. Often taking the pill was an easy way out. Thus, the stronghold of returning pain and both mental and physical addiction kept me in this endless roller coaster. For the last five years, it’s been an ongoing battle.

In the beginning of June of 2020, I felt so tired of this ongoing battle between bondage and my strive to have freedom… As I was thinking about it, I heard/felt this gentle and yet clear and lousd voice within: if you are going to continue taking medication, you will not be able to fulfill your calling. Now you have a choice: to continue and jeopardize your purpose or by faith completely surrender yourself and this matter to the Lord and trust God to help you with pain and with withdrawals.

I knew that I was at crossroads – the choice that I was going to make would determine the further direction of my path. My future depended on my choice.

Just a thought of withdrawals made me sick. I’ve tried to quit medication multiple times and I was never able to. But I knew this had to stop. So I made the decision to trust God with it all. I already witnessed tremendous power in the name of Jesus Christ, and I decided to fight this battle on my knees.

That night was a sleepless night. Phantom pain like electricity shock relentlessly attacked me throughout the night. I got up feeling exhausted. Overwhelmed. Pain relentlessly continued to the point of me saying I could no longer endure it.

I got angry. The pain attacks suddenly became even more vicious than ever before just when I decided to stop taking medication! My anger fueled a determination to be relentless in my prayer of faith. I went into my office and began praying. When I rebuked the pain in Jesus Christ’s name – the pain stopped. It was just gone right after the prayer.

It was so clear – this battle can be won only in the name of Jesus Christ. The narcotic medication would only lead me to destruction. Freedom will come only through faith and the power of the name of Jesus Christ.

There was one thing though that I was concerned about – agonizing physical withdrawals. I was so tired from going back and forth… I wasn’t sure how I was going to handle it all over again.

On the next day, there was a Friday prayer night at Flame of Fire Ministry, and my friend and I decided to join them. I wanted to spend time in prayer. While I was praying in Spirit, I felt the change within me. Instead of concern about withdrawals, I felt growing determination and strength to withstand it, and my faith surrendering to God this matter was getting stronger. I felt total resolve seeing it as being done and over.

At the end of prayer night, leaders asked the attendees if there is someone who would like to be prayed for. At first, I wanted to ask for prayer, but then I stopped myself. I felt shy. “I will just go into my room and continue praying as I did,“ I thought.

After they prayed for others and were about to dismiss the crowd, one of the leaders came up to the front and said “The Holy Spirit says to me that there is someone here in the room who needs freedom from the bondage. Someone, who is really tired from going back and forth. We can pray for you to end this, so you finally can have the freedom that you want.”

Needless to say, my eyes were full of tears! It was me.

Father knew. The Lord heard my cry, and He broke the shackles and delivered me from the invisible prison. Since then, I never went back to medication.

    Remember, it’s a battle

First I had to face a battle though, which had a lesson for me. For the next several days, at times the pain did show up. But, instead of medication, I chose to handle it with the prayer of faith and through the power of the name of Jesus Christ. After several days, the pain shots went away.

Withdrawals came along as well. They weren’t as bad as they normally were. At times though, I wished somebody would get me out of my own body. Nevertheless, I was determined. In those times, in my mind, the verse kept coming to me “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7  And, like never before, I had the endurance to withstand withdrawals. After several more days, they also went away.

For more than 10 years, there has not been a day that I did not feel the lightning strikes of phantom pain, and neither painkillers, nor alternative medicines, nor acupuncture helped – THESE DAILY PAINS ARE GONE! For more than 10 years I could not live a day without opioid drugs, and now almost four months have passed – I HAVE NEVER TAKEN THESE PAINKILLERS!

I want to take the opportunity and thank my church “Hand of Help” in San Francisco and every single person who prayed for me. This was a long and strenuous battle. Especially, I want to thank Aleksandr Kolesnikov, who taught me about faith and the power of prayer and who prayed for me countless times. The first battle is won, Aleksandr!

Lord knows our hearts and true intentions. He knows our hardships and battles. Even if it may seem to us that there is no way out of the situation we are in, God always has a way. And, He hears the cry of those who call out upon His name for help with a sincere heart. He comes to help us and He is never late. So, if you feel trapped in a certain situation, call out to God. Faith in God and prayer is not a ‘religion’ that many views with an ironic mockery. Faith and prayer have great power beyond our comprehension. And it can give you what the world does not have and cannot give.

Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me. (Psalm 50:15)

Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ (Jeremiah 33:3)

If you feel discouraged because you did not receive your answer, keep persisting. Resist the enemy and doubts. Remember that it is the battle. Jesus has already won the battle, we just have to take back what the enemy has stolen.

My best wishes to you, be safe and blessed!

How is this Possible?! :-) Testimony.

Have you ever had the experience when it seemed to you like some invisible hand moved events and circumstances in your favor like in a chess game? Throughout the years I have experienced this numerous times. It astonished me every single time. This time though, I ended my day being simply astounded. To be honest, when I was thinking about this incredible experience, I had a feeling that this happened for me to share with others, so they’d know that their Heavenly Father has it all under control and He takes care of them. Somehow, when I opened my email to send this testimony, I knew by name who I needed to send this to. After sending it to them, many responded to me thanking me for sharing, saying “Perfect timing! This is exactly what I needed to hear!” It’s been several days I have on my heart to share this with you as well. Maybe you are going through the time when you need to hear exactly This.

Just recently, in San Francisco Bay Area we had this harsh rain storm. Rainy storms here in Northern California are very much different than what I had ever experienced when I was living in Europe – they are much stronger. I still went to work, because I had scheduled a meeting that day, which I did not want to cancel. After hearing Weather news in the morning about the storm getting much stronger that afternoon, I decided to leave the office earlier to get home safe before it gets worse. I move around using electric wheelchair AKA my Beemer (BMW:) (I am the fastest pedestrian in the city 🙂 ), and it’s not good for the chair to get wet for the battery and a joystick that controls the chair. Besides, it’s quite dangerous for me to be out in the strong wind when with my one hand I have to hold the joystick that controls the chair and hold my umbrella at the same time. Since my left hand is paralyzed, often I need to be creative to be able to do things. In this case, I figured out a way to be out in the rain without getting soaking wet, but during the storm the smartest choice for me is to stay home. And so here I am speeding home as fast as I can, the rain starts pouring hard, the wind gets rapidly stronger, and as I am just 5 min away from home…suddenly my wheelchair STOPS DEAD. I look at the joystick…it’s flashing. The wheelchair is dead. I am sitting outside, the rain is pouring down so strong that you can see bubbles on the street, and it’s windy cold. I am trying to call my technician – he does not answer the phone and his voice box is full. I am trying to call another number – no answer as well.

    “OK. Now what?”

My first thought – Thank God the wheelchair stopped right next to Trader Joe’s entrance doors (!!) and its roof was above me! So I was protected from getting immediately soaking wet. Then, I am sitting there, thinking “God… what am I going to do now..?! Who’s going to come out to help me in this rain..? What should I do?” My wheelchair never stopped like this while I am outside. A series of thoughts came through my mind in a flash – how can I get out of this situation, wonder why Lord allowed this to happen…this is too strange, who can possibly help me, what is the best way to get home and so on.

After a moment, I look at the entrance doors to see who I could ask for help, and suddenly I see staff’s head popping out and I hear:

“Inga! Hi! I read the article about you, great story!!”

I could not believe this – that was the store’s staff, whom I see all the time when I shop at Trader Joe’s.

“Bob!!! Wow, it’s you! Can you help me??”, caught by another, but this time a pleasant surprise, I asked him for help.

He immediately came out and after explaining to him what happened, I asked him if he could wheel me to help me get home, which was only 5 min away.

“Sure! No problem Inga!” , Bob enthusiastically responded.

Other staff came out as well, loaned him the rain jacket, we released the power to make my Beemer as a manual chair, and Bob wheeled me home. On the way home, I find out that he was on his day off and he just happened to be at the store and by accident saw me. He reassured me that he was happy to help, and didn’t mind this weather – he was a fisherman and this kind of weather was not a problem for him at all, since he has seen much worse in the ocean.

    🙂

As I was on my way, my technician calls me back, and after hearing that my wheelchair just shut down dead in the middle of the storm, says “I will be right there Inga”. My technician came to my place right when I myself got there (normally it is nearly impossible to have a wheelchair tech man come right away) to take a look at the chair what have happened. Apparently, the problem was with the joystick – it got too wet. It happened (!!) he had an extra one in his car and after he changed it, my Beemer was up and running like before. Also, he told me that I caught him at the perfect time – he happened to be in my area (!!) and so that’s the reason he was able to come so fast. Actually, he was just about to leave up North to see his client right before I called, and if I had called later, he would not have been able to come out and help.

So, after having my wheelchair breaking down in the middle of the storm, very quickly I was back home safe and my Beemer was fixed right away. And yes, my cat Musette was also happy to have her Momma back home and giving her treats earlier than she usually gets them. 🙂

Now, tell me how could this be…. my electric wheelchair stops damaged  right in front of Trader Joe’s entrance (what would it be like if it stopped on a busy street that I just crossed a minute ago..?!), the staff who knows me quite well happens to be there on his day off and he by accident saw me right that moment when I was looking who I could ask to help me, technician was in my area right before he drove away to another county and he came to me right away to check the wheelchair AND he had an extra the same kind of joystick, which immediately fixed my wheelchair.

    ..?!?!

God’s Angels are watching over me. 🙂

It’s incredible. Who can take care of us better than our God Father? He has it all in His power. My family is across the globe, but I do feel like I am taken care of; I have my  heavenly Father who is wherever I am and who protects me, cares for me and blesses me abundantly. I have experienced literally countless testimonies of God’s care for many years now.

Sharing this testimony, I want to encourage you – your life is in the hands of your Heavenly Father. Your circumstances, situations, problems, difficulties, anything that concerns or worries you, your sleepless nights, your every single tear and absolutely EVERYTHING is known to your God Father. He is going to take care of it. Just trust Him.

29 Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. 30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. 31 Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows. (Matthew 10:29-31)

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:6-7)

If you know someone who needs to read this, would you please pass this along? Sometimes simple thing like this kind of message can make a big difference for another person.

Blessings to you…. And as always, be strong. Be determined and persistent. Be unstoppable.

And always keep in mind that with God all things are possible.

    Inga

Feel defeated by problems and failed from past mistakes? Turn this around and make your experience work for you.

Happy New Year to you! I hope you enjoyed the beautiful Holiday Season, sharing your time with family and loved ones. And now, it’s a new year. It’s a new beginning. I noticed that in December more people have subscribed to my Blog. You made me smile, and I thank you for that!

As we all start a new year, many of us take the time to see what kind of year it was for us, and then we make new resolutions for the new year. This time I am inspired to write an article about how to deal with past mistakes or failure to achieve goals in a way that will empower you, instead drowning into gloomy feeling of failure and regret. Usually, among all the goodness and joy of success, life also has storms, and I want to share something that will empower you, if you did have some problems and failure to meet your goals successfully. Also, I want to share a resource about goals that will give you some ideas and insights how to actually achieve your goals and implement your New Year resolutions. This is a video with Michael Hyatt. I personally found this video very valuable, and you will see the link to it at the end.

But before looking into new goals and new resolutions, I wanted to share what I call a Self-Management tool that has greatly empowered me in my own journey. Every one of us go through trials, difficulties and we don’t always achieve all of our goals. Normally, looking back into difficult situations or goals that we wished to achieve but for whatever reason we didn’t, doesn’t make us feel good, right? 🙂 It may make us feel disappointed, upset, sad, failed and similar. Well, there is something you can do to turn this around. You still can feel the progress and and find the value when you look at your problems and failure to implement your goals. It is important because not having control over your own thoughts and feelings about your past mistakes makes a big impact on your esteem and confidence, which automatically affects your decisions and actions in the future. It all ties up in one unit. Our successful or not successful results greatly depend on our inner state. It is just one of the many key components, but is a critical one.

Normally, difficulties bring up negative emotions. Failure to achieve goals cause pain as well. But here is the trick: you will feel negative about it all only if you look at it from a perspective that makes you focus on the pain, hardship, failure and defeat. What if you look at it from a different perspective? Every situation has two sides of the coin –  good and bad.  You already know what the bad side looks like, and dwelling on it will only make you miserable. So, instead of focusing on the hardship and pain, asking yourself questions that bring even more pain, shift your focus on the other side – what is the value of it all?  Instead of dwelling on the fact that you did not achieve what you were aiming for or blaming yourself for making poor choices and wrong decisions, ask yourself questions, which will deliver answers that will  show you the value in all that had happened. Look at the good side of the coin and spend more time analyzing that side. You will be surprised what you will see! You will  see very valuable lessons in those situations. You will know what Not to do and what you can do better next time. You will have valuable insights. You will see what Lord was doing with your heart behind those difficult circumstances. You will learn something new about yourself. You will see testimonies of the power of prayer and unshakable faith. You will see a lot of good in all those problems and not achieving goals. I personally don’t even regret about tough times, because I see a great value in it all. I would not like to repeat it, but I honestly am glad I have gone through it and would not trade it now, because I see a lot of lessons that will greatly benefit me in the future.

So how to turn this around? First of all, ask yourself a question that will deliver you the answers that will empower you instead of the answers that will make you dive in to sadness and defeat. Ask yourself questions that will make you see the value in your experience, will equip you with lessons for the future and will give you direction what you can do to improve your circumstances and your strategy to implement your vision.

If you had made poor decisions or faced some tough problems, some of the questions you can ask yourself:

“What am I supposed to learn from this?”

“What insight does it bring to me?”

“What have I learned from this particular situation, which I would not have learned otherwise?”

“What purpose does this have in my journey?”

“What conclusions and lessons am I getting, so I know how to do better in the future?”

If you miss your goal and did not get to implement your vision, you may ask yourself:

“What can I learn from this?”

“What held me back from achieving it?”

“What do I need to change in order to get it this time?”

“What skills or knowledge do I need to acquire?”

“What can I extract from this experience that is beneficial for my future efforts to achieve my goal?”

Asking the right question will bring your attention to the value instead of the failure. Then, be in charge of your Focus. You will see that, which you choose to focus on. Are you going to focus on your poor choices and blame yourself for it, or are you going to focus on the lesson and the value this situation has brought into your life? Are you going to focus on the fact that you missed your goal and feel like a failure, or are you going to focus on the lesson and insights that you have extracted and will be determined to get it this time? This internal process will have a great impact on your inner state and your future decisions.

I am not saying we should neglect poor decisions and just be “positive“, pretending that everything is fine, no.  It is necessary to face the truth, but the purpose of it is to learn and see where we need to make changes, instead of blaming ourselves and feeling bad about it all. Make yourself a rule – the only reason for me to look back to my mistakes, wrong choices or not achieved goals is to seek for value in it.  It may sound like a cliche and too simple for it to do some big change. But please trust me, applying this simple rule will make a significant change in your life.

So, by equipping yourself with learned lessons from your mistakes and by extracting from them insights, empowering conclusions, understanding and new inspirations, you will grow. You will see that problems and tough circumstances can strengthen you. Mistakes can make you wiser and more insightful. All difficulties and mistakes can work for you, if you choose them to play this role for you.

And now, leaving mistakes, regret and pain behind, enter your new year with all valuable insights and lessons that you extracted from difficult situations and circumstances. At this point, you are stronger, wiser and better equipped to conquer your future challenges. This new year you will do better, because you have learned what Not to do and What you can do better. As you are starting your new year, imagine you just opened a new chapter of your life book, where you will write countless incredible testimonies of God’s love and help, new exciting changes, implemented goals and joyous experiences.

No circumstance is your final destination. It can be changed, even if it seems impossible

    Dear my Blog UNSTOPPABLE Followers,

I don’t know your names, but I address this message to each of you. I want to say my sincere thank you for subscribing to receive my messages. Especially I want to welcome you, who just joined me in a month of June. What a nice surprise it was for me to see that from 360 followers in one month it grew to 390! Thank you for joining me.  I hope you will get  some value from what I am going to share in my blogs. I know I haven’t posted anything since then, but I will continue on writing. If you felt that my English is not “proper”, it is because  English is my 3rd language. But, I hope you will not mind. 🙂  I believe the important thing is that you understand what I am trying to say, and the language will be improved with time, right? 🙂

After overcoming personal tragedy and successfully building a new  life after  losing both of my legs and the use of my left arm in a car accident, I have a passion to help others implement their goals and change/improve their lives.  I want to share with you what empowered me to change my life and achieve goals that truly seemed impossible, so you and anyone can do it too, no matter what situation is in your life. My tough, but incredible life journey shows that it’s not what happens to us what determines our destiny, but how we respond to it and what we choose to do about it. At the same time, it is a living testimony of God’s power to restore the broken and turn the impossible into possible. My faith became stronger than ever before.  I am eager to share it with the world, so anyone can experience God’s incredible power, and be an over-comer, leading a victorious life. Since my passion is to touch many people’s lives by sharing my message to inspire, empower and strengthen faith in Jesus Christ, I want to ask you: If you know someone, who you think may benefit from my blogs, would you please share it with them. Sometimes our simple act or a good word might change somebody’s life..

Today I have a message to share that illustrates God’s restorative power and that It’s not what happens to us determines our destiny, but what we choose to do afterwards. Also I want to extend my invitation to you to attend the event, where I was invited to be the guest speaker. I know it’s nearly the last minute announcement, but see if you live in the area and would like and be available to come. Hosted by Love Your Life Ministries,  this event is dedicated to empower women to overcome and thrive, and it will be held on Saturday August 23rd 10:30 am – 2:30 pm  at Hampton Inn hotel, Ukiah, CA. Please see the details below or visit http://www.loveyourlifeministries.org/

As you may know, originally I am from Lithuania, EU. I was born in Vilnius, gorgeous capital of the country. I have been living in the United States since 2005. This June I had a very special event in my life, which made me realize again that no circumstance is your final destination, and that’s what  I want to share with you in this message.

This beautiful event was my Mom’s visit – she came to visit  me from Lithuania for the very first time. She came for a month (5 weeks) and we had a quality time together after 4 years of not seeing each other. Due to various reasons I was not able to go back to Europe, so this was quite a long time not to see my family. God made a beautiful and the best Birthday surprise for me – Mom told me that she had saved up money for the airline tickets and finally she felt confident that she could manage travelling alone across the globe to visit me. Out of my excitement, I nearly fell out of my “BMW” (my electric wheelchair) after hearing her news!  For many years I have tried to have her come, but she would respond to me very firmly “It’s too expensive and besides, having no English language skills, I will not be able to make this trip by myself” So now, when she told me that she’s ready to come, I immediately started making arrangements for her trip, being totally astonished by a surprise. I had a secret dream – to give my Mom the best vacation she has ever had, and finally my opportunity to make that happen showed up! It was just incredible to watch how all the details started coming together as if some invisible hand was putting it all together: the airline round trip tickets during the summer season had the least price I have ever seen in all my 10 year travel EU – USA, we quickly received a permission for her to cross the border (Lithuanian citizens do not need visas) and all the necessary arrangements fell into place just perfectly. My Mom was a little anxious to travel alone across the globe though, since she has never traveled out of the country alone. First, I  prayed for her for the Lord to watch over her and make her trip easy and smooth.  And then, I  encouraged her to push away all her doubts and “What Ifs” , and replace it with Faith and Confidence, saying to herself  “yes, I can and I will make it happen”, allowing absolutely no doubt. This situation brought me back 10 years ago, when I made the decision to go to California and establish myself in the land of sunshine. It was a little intimidating to leave my family and absolutely everything behind and  go all the way across the globe alone, having no resources or guarantees to implement my new vision. I had no place to live, not a lot of money, no work  and not even clear idea how I was going to take make it happen. I did not even have the right to live and work in America, and quite frankly, I had no idea how I was going to move around in the city in my manual wheelchair, cook and do all the daily tasks having no legs and only one arm.  But I had my dream. I had a strong faith. I knew several American people. whom I met during my first visit in the USA.  And I was ready to work hard to make my desire come true. All my doubts and the unknown I replaced it with faith, and I got on the journey, putting my trust on the Lord. That single  step that I made in faith was life changing – it completely transformed my life into a living dream. Now, I saw my Mom was facing very similar doubts and I knew that she  would have the best vacation she has ever had, if she would just make that one step forward….And she did!  Very soon I  hugged my Mom in San Francisco Int’l Airport with tears of joy and smiles. Knowing how fearful my Mom was to travel alone having no English skills, I knew it took an enormous amount of courage for her to do this. I was so proud of her… Just recently it seemed totally impossible for her to make that step. I watched my Mom having this indescribable sense of victory over her fear and enjoying the sweet fruit of it – she made it happen. She arrived to the gorgeous land of sunshine and finally re-united with her daughter. Her flight turned out to be very smooth. She did not even feel that her second flight lasted 11,5 hours! She very much enjoyed her trip and arrived well. In fact, after over 20 hour trip she had more energy than I did! 🙂

Lord blessed every single day of her stay here in California. She finally got to see how I live independently, which was the biggest gift to her. I have been sharing with her stories and photos of my work, meetings with friends, travel times and various exciting experiences I had, but she could not picture how this was possible. What she personally saw were those continuous obstacles for me to function independently, and she could not even imagine how this could possibly be different. Due to the inaccessible apartment, for quite some time  I was not able to get out of my room, and she did basically everything for me.  For a long time I just could not take care of myself independently and especially do any household activities. Therefore, she could not imagine how I was able to take care of myself and handle household on my own, having no legs and only one functioning arm. Our apartment house did not have wheelchair accessible entrance, and the only way for me to get out of the house was for someone to carry me out on their arms. I hated it with all my essence, and for that reason I spent 3 years rarely leaving my home. After watching me being imprisoned by my home for several years, she could not picture how I was able to get out of my apartment independently. In my home city public transportation was not wheelchair accessible, and now Mom could not imagine how I was able to get on the bus and go to work or any place I wanted to go. Mom still had very dark memories of those first 3 years since the accident that were filled with never ending agony and hopelessness. I knew that just from seeing me living fully and being totally independent would make her trip worthwhile.

The vacation turned out to be absolutely outstanding. Every day was beautiful and there were no unpleasant situations at all. Not even one. Every single day was like God’s  gift to both of us. One of the first things Mom got to see was how I function independently, which made her feel speechless  at times and relieved. She saw how accessible California was for the wheelchair users, and now she understood why I was so eager to leave everything behind and move to this country – here I can live just as independent and as fast pace lifestyle as everyone else, regardless of my physical condition. She saw me independently  taking care of myself, cleaning the apartment, cooking, doing the laundry and taking care of any household task or whatever I needed to do. She saw me going out with absolutely no obstacles, using public transportation and  going to any place I wanted to go. Now she saw it all. I was handling daily tasks with no obstacles and she even had a hard time getting used to the fact that I did not need help, as it used to be. She experienced that, which seemed absolutely impossible – I live as independently and fully as if I didn’t have any physical limitation.  That was a confirmation for her that it was the right decision for her and my Dad  to let me go when I told them that I had decided to move to California, across  the globe from our home,  to establish my independent living. Being astonished by what she saw and experienced, Mom kept repeating to me that California was the perfect place for me to live. I saw how stress, worry and pain slowly were leaving her. Instead, daily I saw a smile and her joyous eyes, which I was so longing for…  In addition to the gift of her being able to see that I live fully despite my physical challenges, she got to enjoy Californian sun and  see the breathtaking beauty of California, which absolutely fascinated her. She also got to meet many wonderful people, which showed to her that I was not alone here in America.

There were countless moments that will remain as a beautiful unforgettable memories to both of us.  Among them, there was something that struck me and made me realize once again that no circumstance is our final destination. It all can be changed, even if it seems impossible at the time.

As we were driving around visiting places, in my mind I would stop and think to myself  – What a difference from the time when I started my tough but incredible journey! It was hard to believe this was really a true story, even though I myself am the main character in that story.:) After the car crash I was involved in Feb of 2000, my Mom was right there with me just as she was now, but everything was so different.. Due to the traumatic injuries I suffered, I was unable to eat or move independently for a while.  Mom was feeding me through the straw the half-liquid meal that she would prepare at home and bring me to the hospital.  She would help me to sit up from a lying position and  transfer me into the wheelchair. She would help me to dress up and  would roll me in a wheelchair outside in a rehab center’s area to give me the opportunity to have some fresh air…. We were in the unbearable anguish and shock, wondering how could I possibly continue my life being in such severe physical condition. The circumstances at the time were absolutely hopeless and the future did not promise anything better. There were so many sleepless nights and tears out of despair and fear of unknown…  And now, we were again together, but what a different reality! We were across the globe  from our home in the beautiful land of sunshine California! We were driving along the majestic Pacific ocean and seeing breathtaking views of the coast. We were walking in the beautiful city of San Francisco, crossing famous magnificent Golden Gate bridge and visiting worldwide known places! We were enjoying the stunning views of San Francisco and surrounding islands while we were cruising on the ship in the Bay area!  We were visiting gorgeous vineyards and spending time with wonderful people. Our days were filled with laughter and sheer joy and experiences that will remain unforgettable beautiful memories! We both had the best vacation we’ve ever had! What a dramatic incredible change!

This is exactly what I decided to implement  14 years ago right after my accident – to live fully despite mLedson2_1y physical limitation. There were many suggestions for me to accept my “new reality” of me being “disabled”, because it looked like that’s my fate. I heard that God punished me and should just live with it. I also heard numerous times that my goals were beyond my reach and I would face a big disappointment if I would try to implement them.  At the time I didn’t know that my dream would bring me all the way to California 🙂, but I knew that my life must be different than me spending time in some rehab center or watching how my most beautiful days of my life are imprisoned among the four walls of my room. While I kept hearing “you are out of your mind, it’s impossible, you will never be able to make this happen”, I took action to turn my dream into my reality. I had a different belief and I was determined to make it happen regardless of what other people thought or said. I always had my sight on my vision, not on the obstacles. And I consistently moved forward, putting my trust on the Lord. I knew that with God’s help I would be able to make it happen, because with God all things are possible. And now, as my Mom and I were driving along the Pacific ocean, we agreed that the accident was not the end, but only the beginning of my life story…incredible story that the Lord has orchestrated. Where would I be today, if I had decided that my life has no future and would have given up..?

By writing this message to you, I want to ignite faith in you that you can make your vision become your reality. I am saying this not just to say it, but I myself have lived it and I know it can happen in your life as well. Your current circumstances can be changed if you are not happy with what you have today. I  encourage you to take that step, which may be even life changing.

If you are experiencing joy and success in your life – it’s very exciting and I smile with you. 🙂 Enjoy it and know that you can go even further; the sky is the limit to all that you can do. Better yet, your success will taste even sweeter to you if you reach your hand to those, who need your help to achieve their success. It will make you fulfilled beyond what you can ever experience by making yourself successful, trust me.

If you have a vision that you would like to turn into your reality – go for it. Your dreams and desired goals don’t have to remain your wish. You can bring it all to life. I learned that we can achieve even what seems impossible, if we truly desire it, are ready to pay the price of our work and persistent efforts, and have unshakable faith. Having a clear vision, empowering perspective and consistent action you will arrive to your desired destination.

If you are experiencing difficult circumstances – know that  you can change it. You do not need to settle for whatever life brings along. You can change it. No circumstance is your final destination. Your further life does  not really depend on the event that had happened, but it depends on what you are going to do about it. And if today you are where you are in your life because of your earlier made choices – by making different choices today you can turn your life into different direction.

You can make incredible changes in your life if you make a decision to accept the responsibility, and do whatever it takes to implement your vision, while putting your trust on the Lord. Look at it this way – you are the author of your life story. You can pick up the pen and change your further story. You can change it at any time. Even today. Even this moment can be fateful to you, if you make a decision to open a new page and start writing in it what you want. This is your life. This is your story, and nobody is going to create it for you, except you. Realize that it depends only on you and the Lord God how you are going to continue your life. If you feel stuck and don’t know where to start, answer these  questions:

What needs to be different, what would make you  feel happy and satisfied with your life conditions?

What are the possible ways to bring it to fruition?

What action can you take to turn your vision into a reality?  What action are you going to take?

Where do you have to start, what will be your first step?

And when are you going to make that first step?

I asked these questions myself years ago, and they began my beautiful journey. 🙂

Be determined and persistent. You may meet obstacles that will prevent you from moving forward, but don’t stop. Work toward your goal until you achieve it. The only one who can stop you is You.

Do not be afraid of unknown, but make the first step forward in faith. My Mom made that  step and she had the best vacation she has ever had… 🙂 And finally, after 14 years of ongoing agony from that devastating event and the fear of unknown, she was able to take a deep breath out of joy and easiness. Now, her tears were from her sincere joy. She told me that now, after this visit and experiencing my current life, she will go back to Europe feeling at peace. She feels like she has broken through the chains of pain and sorrow, leaving it all behind. It’s a new life now for her. She saw what a significant role has played her decision and determination to break through her fear and step forward. Where would she be today if she had decided to listen to her fears and not travel? She would still be in pain and the unknown.

I personally made that first step in faith and it literally changed my life.

Make the step forward. Change your circumstances. Change your life.

Adding the value to the world

People have different purposes in life, different interests, different businesses, different lifestyles. But every person has something in common – we all have faced a painful event in life on one or another level. Problems and difficulties is the same part of life as success, joy and everything that we consider good. There is a big difference though how people deal with it. We all know stories of people, who handled problems and challenges well and we also know stories of those, who let go of their dream, gave up on the relationship, gave up on the project they were working on and even gave up on their lives, because they could not handle the pain and the challenge.

Nowadays, there are so many people, who are deeply disappointed  and wounded, exhausted and lost hope after encountering some painful events in their lives. Many are stressed out, lonely and depressed after facing some serious troubles in their relationships or businesses. There are so many, who after experiencing some tragic events or health issues are deeply depressed and on a verge of giving up, because they feel powerless to improve their situation.  While many speakers add a great value by  teaching how to become a successful entrepreneur or create an abundant life, I want to add a value to the world by bringing the message of hope, sharing my personal life’s testimony of God’s power to restore the broken and turn the impossible into possible.  Along with that message, I want share some Self-Management strategies that will help people feel empowered and handle their challenges, overcome obstacles and resolve problems.

I offer Speaking and Group/Personal Life Coaching services. My niche is  How to get back up after the painful event; How to overcome obstacles and challenges and move on creating the life you desire; How to make a change in life and achieve even that, which seems impossible. Some of the topics are:

    • Share my personal life testimony of how with God’s I help was able to transform my life after the devastating car accident
    • How to get and maintain inner strength. How to trust God. Rely on Him
    • How to create a vision and successfully achieve your goals
    • Finding the empowering meaning to the circumstances and look into the future
    • How our perspective determines our inner state and decisions. The importance of carefully choosing the perspective  and having control over it
    • How to get out of depression and maintain empowering inner state
    • How to overcome challenging difficulties and obstacles
    • How to deal with problems in life in a way that strengthens you and empowers you to resolve them in the best possible way

When I was 22 years old, I was involved in a car accident that ended tragically. One moment completely changed my life. I lost everything that made my life joyous and beautiful, and no longer I had my legs nor could I use my left arm.  I was not able to take care of myself anymore and did not know how I would be able to continue my life.  Praise be to God, my tragedy turned into a beautiful testimony of God’s power to restore the broken. Today, I feel happier than I was before the car accident. Since the accident though, I had to face variety of obstacles and challenges on a daily basis. As I continued my life journey, having my vision and unshakable faith that I was going to reach my dream, I learned to handle the pain, overcome obstacles that prevented me from moving forward and handle the challenges in a way that they worked for my benefit. I got out of deep depression without medication  or psychological help and learned to maintain empowering inner state at all times. As I was moving forward, I kept achieving goals, which ultimately transformed my life from being helpless and a depressed to moving across the globe by myself and creating a joyous and fulfilling life.

It is not the event that has the power to determine your future…

I will never forget that beautiful sunny day, when I realized that if I do not like the way it is now – I can change it. Nothing – no accident, difficulties due to my changed physical condition, or any other problems – can determine how I feel and how I will continue my life journey. This is my life, and what it will be like depends on me, and not on other people, events or some occurred circumstances. Yes, the accident created those desperate circumstances, but I could change them by taking initiative and action that will create different circumstances. I don’t have to settle for the way it is, and I believe that with God’s help I am going to get out of this horrible place in my life.

That moment something happened within me. I felt strong and determined to change my life conditions. I had a strong desire to be connected with people, work, travel and be useful to others, and that moment I knew that this was exactly how I will live. Without any more waiting or hesitation I decided to take initiative and start making changes to get myself out of the dead-end. I was living in unbearable emotional pain for so long that I just could not stand it anymore. I hated my suddenly changed position and this endless pain so much that I was ready to do everything I could do to return to change it all. It did not matter to me how much work and efforts it would cost me. But I knew that I was not going to settle for “disabled lifestyle”. My decision and determination was absolutely non-negotiable. I clearly realized that nothing was going to just happen if I sit and do nothing to make it happen. I knew I had to take initiative in order to implement the vision I had for my life. If I am going to be idle – the circumstances will shape my life, and it was not going to be the life that I desired. So I identified what my goals were to move toward the vision and how I was going to reach them. And…I took action. I held the vision of how I want to live, and consistently worked toward my goal.

Today I literally live my dream that seemed nearly impossible. The goals and the standards that I set for myself transformed my life from not being able to do anything independently to travelling across the world by myself and building my life all over again in a foreign country. I do live a full active and meaningful life.

… And it all started that moment, when I realized that my further life does not really depend on the accident and its consequences, but on what I was going to do from that moment.

By writing about this I want to share this lesson and experience with you, who took the moment to read. It is not the event that has the power to determine your future, but what you are going to do about it. Know that you can change your current circumstances if you are not happy with it. Current circumstances were created by your own earlier made choices or some occurred events that you could not control. Same way, by making certain choices and taking action you can create different circumstances. Your life is in your hands, not in the hands of your circumstances. Your choice of what you are going to do about it from now on will determine your future events, and finally maybe even your destiny.

Do not allow the circumstances be in charge. YOU take charge of them and your life! Nothing is impossible for those, who have faith. It might look impossible, but with God all things are possible. God bless!! ♥

    …Is it worth it?

This week I was reminded again how important it is to be very careful listening to other people’s opposing opinions and better yet – Not to listen them at all if you Know in your heart what it is that you are supposed to do.

It is scary to even think about where I would be in my life today, if I allowed the irony and smiles of others to change my decisions on my goals… I heard sooo many suggestions of what I should do with my choices and my life… and IF I had listened to opinions that I was crazy with my goals and intentions, and instead I should have done what they thought I should do – I would not have come to California, would not have reached my “impossible” dream goals and would not be as happy as I am.

If God gave you the vision and opportunity to implement it – people’s opinions, fears and suggestions of what you should do must have no impact on your decision. First, we do not know Why people say what they say. We do not know what’s in their heart and what their intentions are. Besides, their opinions are based on their beliefs, their own past experiences and fears, attitudes and their perspectives. But it is theirs, not yours. This is Your life. You know what you believe in, you have your vision and only you can know what the right thing for you to do is. So hold on to your vision and your faith no matter what people say, and just keep moving forward toward your vision.

People will say their suggestion to you, forget about it and then continue their lives. And what if you, by altering your decision according to their opinions, might miss what God has prepared for you. …Is it worth it?

    Something that carried me through…

Commitment, Action, Persistence, having control over your thoughts and your inner state is absolutely critical to have. But there is one more thing, without which I would not have made it. I got knocked down and deeply disappointed so many times, and even having all these qualities sometimes it seemed I did not have strength to get up and make another step… But there was one thing that did not let me give up. It got me up each time I fell down. It carried me on the arms when I could not walk any more. It gave me hope in the darkest time. Basically all my big goals seemed nearly Impossible, and sometimes I would ask myself “Inga…what are you doing…are you out of your mind..it’s IMPOSSIBLE!”  but there was something that gave the birth to strong determination to go after those impossible goals. It’s my faith that with God’s help I will create the life that I desire. I would not have rebuilt my life after the crash, if God would not have created opportunities for me and would not have given me strength and ability to handle it all. Faith in God never fails, trust me. And those who seek Him with all their heart, find Him.

    Commitment to your vision

    Commitment to your vision
This week I was reminded about one of the ingredients that went into my life pie.:) Remember, in my earlier posting I said that just like you need numerous ingredients to make a pie, it takes several important things to handle various unfavorable situations in life, overcome obstacles or achieve what you want,?:)
One of the things that helped me to get through the most challenging times was a Commitment to my vision. I did not “wish” a better life. I had a burning desire to have a better life. I wanted get back into active full lifestyle and I was committed to making it happen.

Goosebumps go through my body when I remember those years, when I was training to walk with artificial legs. It was exhausting work and endless pain. Every step I made felt like someone was stabbing me with a knife. Still, I was learning to make those steps, just so I can walk again. After walking for 1.5 hrs, my thighs were swolen, covered with bruzes, sores and even opened wounds. I would put the medicine and the bandage on the sores, and would train again. My decision to walk again was non-negotiable. Even though realistically It seemed impossible for me to walk and I was told so many times I should just leave that alone and take a different strategy for my life, I kept training and going for my dream. I was so committed that I did not even listen to people’s opinions nor did I negotiate with pain, my mood or daily “want and don’t want”. The time came when I did reach my dream. I did walk. There is no way I would have walked again, if I was not fully committed to my dream.

When 8 years ago I decided to go to California to see how I could establish myself in this beautiful land, I had absolutely no means or guarantees to implement my idea. I did not have a place to live, did not have a lot of money and did not have a job. I did not even have the right to live and work in the country. I knew English pretty well, but I hardly understood Americans. In addition to that, I had no idea how I could move around independently in the manual wheelchair, cook meals for myself with one hand and just generally take care of myself being in such physical condition that I am. The idea of living in California seemed very exciting, of course, but I was in a very tough position – I had absolutely no resources to make it happen. I had my faith in God, several Americans who loved me, my suitcase and a dream.:) That’s how I started… I put my faith in God and myself I was fully committed to make it happen regardless of how much effort and work it would take. Today I live the dream that seemed nearly impossible… In fact, I have more than I could have ever dreamed of…

The interesting thing was my mindset: when I decided to go to America. I did not go to “try” establish myself there. I was going to do it. I did not leave any alternative to myself. I knew I would live in California before I even flew down here. I had no idea how I could possibly implement my desire, but there was no doubt that I would succeed. Yes, it required determination, devotion, hard work, and persistence. I was very blessed in whatever I did and was protected from evil, but it did take a lot of effort and hard work. Of course there were times when it seemed I would have given away anything just so I can be at home in Lithuania with my family and friends. But I knew I could not just drop everything and leave. The full commitment to my dream pushed me forward through the difficult times. My commitment to the outcome moves me forward up to this day, and I am holding that standard.

…The obstacles, challenges and various problems will come into your life, whether you want it or not. But if are truly committed, you will overcome it all. There might be the facts of your reality that ironically smiles at you saying that your goal is nearly impossible. But if you are truly commited to your vision – you will find a way to realize it.There cannot be “Trying to do it”. Don’t try. Just do it. Of course it is necessary to be wise about the decisions, but the truth is that you must be fully committed if you are going after some big vision, because obstacles will show up without a doubt. It’s what you are going to do when they come will determine your result. Trying is a state of mind when you allow the possibility of not making it happen. Commitment makes your decision non-negotiable. You will achieve what you want, because then you will be absolutely determined to do whatever it takes to realize your vision.
