I want to share a quick testimony with you; maybe someone needs to hear it at this time.
On July 4th weekend, my friends and I went to Santa Cruz for a short getaway at the ocean. On the way back, one of the girls wanted to buy some locally grown fruits. When we drove closer to the stands where fruits were sold, I saw a written sign that there was Honeycomb available to purchase. I was SO EXCITED!! I LOVE honeycomb! It’s been such a loooong time since I had it. “I want honeycomb,” I said to my friends as we were getting ready to get out of the car.
Once we came up to the stands we saw a wide variety of fruits and berries, and there was honey in a glass jar, and right next to it there it was – local raw honeycomb in a jar. But it seemed quite overpriced… ugh!
We decided to skip it. Maybe we will find it in another place. I was sad for a moment. I so missed raw honeycomb..
But then I pushed my disappointment away and quickly zipped further away to take some photos of the ocean coast while Victoria was choosing fruits that she wanted to buy. I was just grateful I could see with my own eyes the beauty of the Pacific and breathtaking views of its coastline.
Upon my return to the car, there I saw a man coming up to me and he said, “I am sorry, but I had to say this – you inspired me so much! I saw how quickly you zipped around with this wheelchair and how well you handle it, and just watching you I was so inspired. I want to give you this as my gift to you.”
And, he reaches his hand holding… a jar with raw honeycomb – exactly the one I wanted!
I was so astonished! I couldn’t even say anything except Thank you.
Think about it… There were peaches, plums, apricots, cherries, blackberries, and many other fruits, and there was another kind of honey BUT the owner gave me particularly what I so desired. ☺
The verse came to my mind “He fulfills the desire of those who fear him”
I have quite a few stories like that. My meeting with Dolphins in Jamaica was exactly the same story, which literally brought me to tears of joy. I will share it with you another time.
And for now, I share this experience to pass it on to you.
He knows EXACTLY what you need and what you want. He knows every single detail and the deep desires of your heart. He listens to the prayer of those who love the Lord and walk before Him in reverence, and He fulfills their desire. And, the Lord is never late. Always remember that.
“The Lord is righteous in all his ways and kind in all his works. The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth. He fulfills the desire of those who fear him; he also hears their cry and saves them.”
